Title: 7 Weeks in Tibet

This autumn an international team of six kayakers probed the depths of eastern Tibet searching for adventure and new white water playgrounds.

After months of planning we finally united in Lhasa, with members of the team either flying in from US, New Zealand, or driving in from Nepal.  After a week of acclimatization and planning, immersed in the sights and sounds of Tibet's capital we headed eastwards into the backcountry and to many un-chartered rivers.

Six weeks later all six kayakers emerged intact (albeit with some dodgy looking moustaches) from the foothills of the Himalayas and descended into China having experienced some of the biggest, scariest and best kayaking we have ever encountered.

During that time we saw it all, big volume, steep and technical, continuous...  white water in all forms, some of it roadside, some of it more remote. All this surrounded by the spectacular landscape of Tibet
